This letter was transferred from the Rare Books Division, Special Collections Department, University of Virginia Library, on June 30, 1995 (PS1057.W5 1874 Copy 6).
This 29 August 1950 letter from Miss Ellen M. Bagby, Rapidan, Virginia, to Martha Rives Adams, The News , Lynchburg, Virginia, with envelope, refers to an article by Adams about What I Did With My Fifty Millions written by her father George William Bagby (1828-1883), which Miss Bagby and her sisters read with "great pleasure." She also tells Adams about the good sales of another of his books, The Old Virginia Gentleman and encloses a circular about it (not present).
