This manuscript volume was purchased from Jeanette Alford, The Manuscript Company of Springfield, Springfield, Virginia, by the Library on July 8, 1992.
This bound volume, ca. 1850s, ca. 28 pages, pertains to the erection of Chantilly, Virginia Presbyterian Church; on the front cover is "Acconts kept of material and labor furnished Building Committee." This record of construction expenses includes payments for hauling lumber, sawing/cutting and scoring timber, masonry, blacksmithing, and hand labor.
