This letter, November 22, 1859, from John B. Winfree, "Woodlawn," near Petersburg, Virginia, to his brother, Christopher V. Winfree, Lynchburg, Virginia, discusses business and financial arrangements. Winfree mentions that he has advertised his farm for sale and is now pursuing a new business venture, and is seeking advice from his brother.
