Virginia Land Grants, 1757 & 1761, Accession #10914, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
These two items were a gift to the Library by Mrs. Wendell W. Wiley, of Oroville, California, on March 1, 1990.
There are two land patents, 1757 and 1761, for Brunswick County, Virginia. The first, signed by colonial governor Robert Dinwiddie, grants 75 acres to John Dieger; and, the second, signed by colonial governor Francis Fauquier, grants 200 acres to Joseph John Andrews.
