The Great War Audio Compact Disk, 1989, in the Joseph M. Bruccoli Great War Collection, Accession #10875-ai, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
These items were given to the University of Virginia Library by Matthew J. Bruccoli, Bruccoli Clark Layman, Inc., Columbia, South Carolina, on July 26, 1995.
This addition to the Joseph M. Bruccoli Great War Collection consists of a digital audio compact musical disk, with an audio cassette recording copy, 1989 and ca. 1994, of "The Great War: An Evocation in Music and Drama Through Recordings Made at the Time." The compact disk was produced by Pavilion Records Ltd., Sparrows Green, Wadhurst, E. Sussex, England, and has a playing time of seventy-one minutes and thirty seconds.
Contents include: "Tipperary"/ "Keep the Home Fires Burning"/ "We Don't Want to Lose You"/ "Good-byee"/ "Over There"/"Land of Hope and Glory"/"Mademoiselle from Armentieres"/"Roses of Picardy"/"Pack up Your Troubles"/"Take Me Back to Dear Old Blighty"/Dramatized Sketches/ and Documentary Material, etc.
