This collection was given to the Library by Debra S. Clatterbuck of Elkton, Virginia.
These three documents (electrostatic copies), 1861 and 1866, relate to the estate of Michael Henkle of Pendleton County, Virginia. Included are a "Conditions of Sale," November 18, 1861; a "Conditions of Sale of Negroes," November 19, 1861; and, a receipt, 1866, from the Clerk of Pendleton County.
