Papers of the Libertarian Party, Accession #10187-z, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
The collection was a gift to the Library by Christopher B. Martin of Charlottesville, Va., on January 4, 1990.
These papers, 1981-1983, pertaining to the campaign of Phyllis Goetz, Libertarian Party candidate for governor of Ohio, were assembled by her press secretary Christopher B. Martin. Included are newspaper clippings, press releases, statements of candidates and the party, correspondence, drafts of statements and press releases by Martin, and a candidate profile for Goetz. In addition, there is a letter, March 1, 1983, from Martin to his mother, discussing the 1982 Libertarian gubernatorial campaign in Massachusetts and enclosing four photographs showing Martin, Ed LaRoque, Eric O'Keefe, and others.
