These slides were given to the Library on May 12, 1988, by Edward L. Manigault, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, in honor of Edward L. Manigault, Sr.

This collections consists of 746 color slides of rhododendrons, azaleas, and related subjects, ca. 1950-1967, taken by Edward L. Manigault, Sr. They have been consecutively numbered and kept in the groups established by Mr. Manigault, with a miscellaneous grouping at the end. Each slide has been identified by the photographer on its mount.
The general groupings are as follows: 1) S.S. Lutea, (except calendulacea and nudiflora), and S.S. Schlippenbachi (SLIDES # 1-100); 2) American Rhododendron Society Tours -Gardens -Nurseries (SLIDES # 101-175,-a-h); 3) S.S.
