Papers of John Hall Wheelock, Accession #8997-a, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
This collection was purchased and deposited on 1968 September 26 & 1971 January 11.
In this letter to [Will Orton Tewson?] the editor of "The Literary Review," John Hall Wheelock refuses to answer the question which line in English poetry is most beautiful by saying that he has no favorite line and believes the question both difficult and futile.
