This collection of research materials, 1920-1966, and 1975,
consists of ca. 78 items, pertaining to Elizabeth C.
Lanhorne's book
Nancy Astor and Her
Friends. These preliminary research materials include
original letters, newspaper clippings and other printed
material, and handwritten research notes by the author. There
is also an oversize item, an early autograph manuscript draft
of the book, with heavy additions and revisions by the
author.
The original folders which were marked with topics have
been filed in permalife inserts with similar topic headings.
