This volume was given to the Library through the Rare Book Division by Dr. and Mrs. Armistead Page Booker on September 15, 1986.
This volume was transferred to the Manuscripts Division on March 28, 1989.
This handwritten recipe book contains chiefly recipes of desserts or other sweets such as custards, puddings, cakes, pies, preserves, and jams but also contains recipes for soups and meatball, ham, chicken, lobster, and oyster dishes. There is an alphabetical index of the recipes at the front.
