This collection was given to the Library on August 3, 1967.
This collection consists of 2 letters; one from Brig. General Rufus King to Brig. General Hector Tyndale, the other from Charles King to an unknown admirer of "Buffalo Bill Cody." In addition, there is an article from the Milwaukee Sentinel regarding King's book Campaigning With Crook .
Concerns surrender at Vicksburg.
Describes fight where Cheyenne Chief Hayowei was killed and where Cody's story of the fight differs.
