This collection was purchased by the Library on 25, 1963.
This collection consists of a letter from William Willis, Portland, Maine, writing to William Minot, Boston, concerning the successful settlement of a dower for a Mrs. Bell from a Mrs. Austin on better terms than receiving a portion of rents. There is also an engraving of Willis by H.W. Smith.
Has successfully concluded the settlement of a dower for a Mrs. Bell from a Mrs. Austin on better terms than receiving a portion of rents. Explains delay was not caused by his negligence.
