This collection consists of two letters to Mrs. Mary Virginia Terhune from Alice French. In a letter, 1888 October 21, Alice French [Thanet] writes to Mrs. Terhune [Harland] promising to send a story. In a letter, 1896 December 28, French writes Terhune mentioning Mr. Terhune's operation, her decision to go in with her friend Mrs. [Jane Allen] Crawford on a house, and commenting on her reading of "The greatest of these."
