Letters of T. S. Eliot, Accession # 6247-l, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
This collection was purchased from Walter R. Benjamin Autographs, Hunter, N.Y, on July 20, 1990.
This collection consists of one letter from T.S. Eliot to Walter Elder, regrets that he is unable to take part in a literary conference at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, because ... "My visit to this country was only designed for two months - I came on this occasion as publisher and not as a lecturer - and I shall sail at the end of this month, or as soon after as I can get a passage."
