Letters of T. S. Eliot, Accession # 6247-m, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
This collection was purchased from Paul C. Richards Autographs, Templeton, Massachusetts, on December 9, 1991.
This collection consists of one letter from T.S. Eliot, London, to Dunstan Thompson, London; requests that DT send poems to Marguerite Sermoneta for a new literary magazine she is founding in Rome; says that payment will be according to American, not European standards; emphasizes that MS is an old friend whom he is anxious to help. Postscript explains that his inclusion of MS's royal title is intended to avoid confusion with her sister-in-law.
