In this letter, 1902 Dec 16, John Kendrick Bangs, Townsend Building, New York, New York, to Mrs. C. M. Calhoun, discussing his effort to reinforce her son John's belief in Santa Claus, stating that "...the youngster who can hang on to the ideals of his childhood is the happier for it."
