Letters of Launcelot Minor Blackford, Accession #6403-j, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
This collection was an archival transfer on 1994 April 21.
There are two letters, March 1 and June 8, 1887, from Launcelot Minor Blackford, as Principal of Episcopal High School of Virginia, near Alexandria, Virginia, to Mrs. S. W. Halsey, Washington, D. C., concerning the schooling of her son, Don. The fees for board and tuition, circumstances interrupting the boy's stay at the school, and Blackford's fondness for the Halsey boys are mentioned.
