Papers of the Washington Family, Accession #2988-c, Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, Charlottesville, Va.
These documents were given to the Library on April 5, 1993, by Frank Grizzard, Papers of George Washington, Alderman Library, who retains possession of the originals.
This collection consists of electrostatic copies of three items pertaining to the Washington family, 1752-1816, including journal entries concerning the estate of Lawrence Washington, 1773-1781, a suit of chancery brought before the Greenbrier County Court by [Lawrence ?] A. Washington, plaintiff, against George W.P. Custis, Bushrod Washington, George Washington, and others, defendants, August 1816, and an account of Samuel Harestone with John Harvie, 1752-1756.
