The collection was given to the Library by Mr. Ogg through the Rare Book Department on August 28, 1984.
This collection consists of twelve items, 1963-1965, all concerning a home study program of art appreciation entitled "Art in Our Time, "sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and published by the Book-of-the-Month Club. Oscar Ogg (1908-1970) was a representative of the Book-of-the-Month Club involved in the planning of this project. These materials include: notes and minutes of meetings concerning the study course, correspondence, a pamphlet entitled "What a Way To To-A Selection from Clarence P. Hornung's Gallery of the American Automobile, "and miscellaneous drawings and illustrations in pencil and pen-and-ink.
