Acquisition Information

This collection was a gift of Erskine Caldwell through the Rare Book Department on December 6, 1979.

Scope and Content Information

The papers include 18 drawings by Virginia Caldwell for Around about America, most with a brief identifiction on the verso; together with a press release and an announcement in a 1964 publisher's publicity catalog. A 1961 photographic portrait of Caldwell is included.
