This collection consists of 8 items, chiefly correspondence and poems of Fanny Kemble.
This collection is arranged in two series. Series I consists of manuscripts and Series II consists of letters.
Concerns divorce settlement between Mr. Butler and Mrs. Butler (Fanny Kemble), and whether daughters will be allowed to accompany her home and remain during summer holidays.
Concerns Mr. Bugbee's offer of advice and assistance in building her house in Lenox; Frances Kemble has not yet purchased land, so cannot use his services at the present time.

Concerns renting house in Lenox; Frances Kemble is leaving America and the cottage will belong to daughters; they will rent.
Sorry she cannot accompany her children tomorrow but will send their American nurse.
