Joyce Clopton Wallace was one of the younger of twelve children of John Bacon Clopton and Maria Gaitskell Foster Clopton. She married Charles M. Wallace..

Scope and Content

Kept while her mother, Maria Gaitskell Foster Clopton, was keeping a school, "The Raleigh Institute," in the Apollo Room of the Raleigh Tavern. Contains poetry, a color pencil d rawing of a flower and a description of "An Evening at the Raleigh." Also contains autographs of students.
