Biographical/Historical Information
Pleasant Richards died in Amelia County by 25 February 1836. His wife was named Sally and he had at least one brother and one sister according to his will. The will does not mention any children.
Scope and Content Information
Bill of sale, 6 August 1825, for a female slave named Fanny and her "increase" from Jarrett A. Jeter (1800-1866) to Pleasant Richards (d. 1837), both of Amelia County, Virginia.
