Biographical/Historical Information
During the Civil War Confederate railroads were required to provide transportation of freight, supplies, material, and men for the government. Wilmington and Weldon Railroad was located in North Carolina.
Scope and Content Information
Requests were issued by the Transportation Office, Confederate States of America, for transportation of indiviuals between Goldsboro and Wilmington, North Carolina.
