Scope and Content Information
Albemarle County, Virginia, miscellaneous records, 1808-1861, consisting of: a) unidentified plat, 1 March 1808, of 117 acres in Albemarle County made by William Tompkins; b) unidentified plat, 17 April 1837, of 738 1/2 acres made by D. H. Goodman; c) promissory note, 18 September 1858, from O. W. Purvis and J. W. Mason to Peter F. Jefferson, for a note of $60 as second installment for puchase of two tenements in Scottsville, Virginia; d) agreement, 2 February 1861, between Samuel W. Goodman and O. W. Purvis, for money due Purvis for the purchase of a slave; and e) unidentified and undated plat.
