Cash account book, 1855-1875, of Dove Chapter Number 44 of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Virginia that records cash received from and cash paid by the organization related to expenses, purchases, and payments to national chapter. Volume also records cash received from and cash paid by the organization's members. Each account lists chronologically members' contributions to degrees, payment of dues, and other debts owed the chapter and form of payment. A list of members names found at front of volume. It also includes an index that lists members' names in alphabetical order and page numbers where their accounts can be found.
