Scope and Content
Account book, 1858-1862, of James W. McClung, a physician. It records the accounts of individual patients including African-Americans. Each account lists dates of transactions and charges and payments for visits to patients, medication, and other medical services such as extracting teeth, removing warts, and obstetrical surgery.
