Virginia and West Virginia Localities Miscellaneous Records, 1736-1915, consist of chancery causes, common law suits, deeds, wills, military and pension records, property records, road and bridge records, tax and fiscal records, overseers of the poor, fiduciary records, financial records, correspondence, business records, officials' bonds, insurance policies, and other court papers. The records were removed from the courthouses from the following localities: Albemarle County, Augusta County, Bath County, Berkley County, Botetourt County, Bedford County, Clarke County, Greenbrier County, Jefferson County, Kanawha County, Lee County, Morgan County, Orange County, Patrick County, Pittsylvania County, Prince William County, Richmond County, Rockbridge County, Spotsylvania County, Westmoreland County, and Wythe County.
