Thomas D. Armstrong Jr. World War II letters, 1944-1945, .012 cubic feet, to his parents and siblings in which he describes his life as he completed basic infantry training and officer candidate school. He was assigned to the 30th Infantry responsible for destroying Japanese armament and his letters describe interactions with the Japanese population.
