Biographical / Historical

Mennis Lawson Gibson was born in 1899 in Paris, Virginia. He graduated from VMI in 1921 and went on to become a businessman. He died in 1973 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of two documents concerning Gibson's Army Air Corps career during World War I. Included is a War department document in reference to a physical examination (November 1918) and a discharge notice (December 1918).
