Biographical / Historical
Charles Clement Richardson (1933-1984) graduated from VMI in 1937. He was the owner of the Charles C. Richardson Construction Company and was a developer in the San Diego, California area for more than 30 years. During World War II he was a civil engineer with the United States Navy Reserve and was stationed at Quoddy Village, Maine.
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of digital copies of papers relating to C. Clement Richardson's service in the United States Navy during World War II. The primary topic of these papers is Quoddy Village, Maine, which was a Navy Sea Bee base named Camp Lee-Stephenson during World War II. This collection includes documents concerning Richardson's service record, operations at the camp, and photographs taken taken at the camp and in the vicinity.
