Biographical Note
Robert Michael Ballantyne (1825-1894) was a Scottish born novelist, primarily of juvenile literature. During the course of his literary career, he authored more than 100 books, including The Coral Island (1858) and Snowflake and Sunbeams (1856).
Scope and Contents
The R. M. Ballantyne Letters consists of two letters from Ballantyne to his publishers and one to a close friend or relative.
