Biographical Note
Whiteley H. Dill (b. abt. 1827), was a soldier in the 26th Ohio Regiment, Company C during the United States Civil War in 1861. He is listed as a farmer on the 1860 and 1870 Census from Bloomfield Township, Ohio.

Scope and Content
The Whiteley H. Dill Correspondence contains letters from 1861 written by Whiteley H. Dill to his family in Bloomfield, Ohio. The collection also contains a letter to Dill and a drawing of a regiment camp.
