The processing, arrangement, and description of the Victory Garden Work Sheets were completed in February 2025.

Scope and Content

This collection contains a group of worksheets related to starting and maintaining a Victory garden. The worksheets were created by Beech-Nut Packing Company of Canajoharie, NY, and likely date from around 1943-1945. Worksheets cover a wide range of topics, and include garden planning and organization, soil and pest management, details for growing selected vegetables, and additional suggested readings. The back of the packet of worksheets also includes several handwritten notes.
