Processing Information
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Alexander Von Humboldt Portrait Print was completed in July 2025.
Scope and Content
This print is in black and white and is a portrait of Alexander Von Humboldt. The original painting was done by Emma Gaggiotti Richards, while this print of the painting was done by Paul S. Habelmann. A note attached to the print states that it was gifted to Virginia Tech in 1935 by the German Government. The condition is fair, minor water damage at the bottom, does not affect the portrait.
