Abstract
Pictorial map of the United States, depicting the chief food products of each of the then-48 states, illustrated with cartoon representations of workers and consumers. Four inset maps depict sources of poultry, grains, meat and fish; and the geographic extent of the A&P grocery chain, including warehouse and buyer locations. Produced for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair ("A Century of Progress"), the map is accompanied by promotional text extolling advances in commercial food production and marketing.
