Administrative History:

The women's lacrosse team at the College of William and Mary has participated in intercollegiate competition since 1970. The team has made seven appearances in the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains programs, brochures and media guides related to the women's lacrosse team at the College of William and Mary from the years 1973-2010. There are also two photographs of individual players. Additionally, publications related to the United States Women's Lacrosse Association as well as the College of William and Mary women's field hockey team are also present. Lacrosse sticks, game footage on VHS, DVD, and mini-DV, artifacts for the education collection, and textiles related to the women's Lacrosse team are also present in different locations.
