Biographical Information:
Charles E. Lipscomb attended the College of William and Mary 1888-1890. While a student, he was a founding member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity chapter at William and Mary. Lipscomb was from Prince William County, Virginia. He spent most of his career as a publisher, principally Parke, Austin & Lipscomb, Inc. in New York City. The papers of Charles E. Lipscomb include photgraphs, news clippings, certificates and a volume of dedications from friends and colleagues on the occasion of his retirement.
