Scope and Contents

Manuscript petition from 58 merchant colonists to the House of Commons against a petition calling for the prohibition of trade between the Northern colonies and the French and Dutch West Indian settlements.  Signers claim it would destroy colonial, English, and European trade.  ADoc. 5 pp.  Ca. 1737.  Phillips collection.
