Has just recovered from the measles which 30 of the boys had; received orders to prepare to march at any hour; "hard skirmishes" at Leesburg and Falls Church, Va. Tells his brother he should be here to see fine horses; asks him to look over his house and advise Mr. Ables where to build his house. 2 pages. Autograph Letter Signed.
