Content Description

Collection of 30 Cuban film posters, titled "Últimas Escenas", was created to commemorate Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, an acclaimed Cuban film director known also as "Titon". These were films that he envisioned but never completed before his death in 1996. Alea was an active supporter of socialism and used his film work to espouse positive change in Cuba. A link to these posters, which includes robust descriptions, translations, and citations of each poster is included in the digital objects of this collection.
