Biographical / Historical

Edward Carrington Stanard Taliaferro was the son of William Booth Taliaferro and Sally Lyons Taliaferro. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1898.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of four items: Edward C. S. Taliaferro's diploma from the Medical College of Virginia (in Latin), dated April 21, 1898, and three photographs. The first photograph is an identified group and titled "American Physicians Studying in Dr. Neudorfer's Laboratory in Vienna, 1902 June-July." The second photograph is an identified group and titled "Physican's in Dr. Turk's Internal Medicine Course, Neusser Clinic Vienna, 1902-1903." The third photograph is an undated group image of white men, likely physicians, dated circa 1920s. The photograph was taken by the Faber Studio in Norfolk, Virginia.
