Content Description
One page letter informing Peter Goelet that William Neate had passed away and that, as the executor's of his Last Will and Testament, they would settle the accounts maintained by him and owed to Mr. Goelet in the sum of 100 pounds. Also a bill of lading of sundry goods sent from John Grosvenor in Liverpool, England to Peter Goulet in New York City on March 12, 1802. Goods include utensils, cooking irons, tools, trunks, and clocks.
