Chaplain Pugh's typed copy of his "Victory Day Service" with an attached June 4, 1945 letter to Mrs. Troy H. Sumrall about the honor also given to her husband, Lt. Troy H. Sumrall at the service.

In September, 1969, Thomas Nelson Pugh had an unexplained grand mal seizure and began behaving oddly and was sent stateside for treatment. Per his correspondence in the following folders, he seems greatly improved by December 1969.
