This collection is open to all researchers except for Accession 1991.099. Acc. 1991.099 contains material which may be restricted related to personnel matters, student records, or other reasons. Historical Note:
The Virginia Associated Research Campus (VARC) of the College of William and Mary in Newport News, Virginia included the site and building of the former Space Radiation Effects Laboratory (SREL). Since the construction of the CEBAF accelerator VARC's sole purpose has been to support the CEBAF site.

Scope and Contents
The collection includes publications, grant proposls, an audit report, minutes of the governing committee, and other material documenting the Virginia Associated Research Campus (VARC) of the College of William and Mary. The largest group of records (Accession 1991.099) includes material related to grants and contracts, buildings, personnel, ledgers, correspondence, manuals, insurance, audit, and other operations of VARC. It is 20.4 cubic feet in size and is currently unprocessed.
