Abstract
Glass plate negatives (forty-three items) documenting subjects in the area of Hinton, Avis, and Bellepoint, West Virginia.
Includes pictures of the Hinton family (patriarch and matriarch were Silas Hinton and Mary Jane Charlton) and their associates.
Other subjects include the Chesapeake and Ohio railroad, children in a carriage, a mill, and members of a baseball team, among
others. Thirty-nine of these have been digitized; the rest were either poor quality or blank.
