Abstract
Papers of Henry ("Harry") C. Wolfe (b. ca. 1904), an electrical engineer who worked for the Forest Service and the Rural Electrification
Administration. Includes correspondence (1933-1943), photographs (1920-1933, undated), publications (1946-2006), a small American
flag (undated), and maps (ca. 1914-1976). Photograph subjects include Harry's surveyor job in Hardy County, West Virginia,
as well as Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) work and CCC camp life in West Virginia. Publications include a journal for which
Harry wrote an article ( Public Utilities Fortnightly ), various Governor's Task Force Reports, and an article on the CCC. Maps include West Virginia highway maps (1940-1957),
and topographical maps of West Virginia and nearby states (ca. 1914-1976).
