Scope and Contents

Includes an assortment of late 19th and early 20th century advertising materials and business cards. Also features a receipt for [canal?] freight charges on salt to Harper's Ferry, 1871; Henry Ke[e]esecker's certificate of membership in the 67th Regiment Virginia Light Infantry [Berkeley Co.], signed by Richard Becall, captain, 1818; three Civil War veteran badges from the West Virginia branch of the Grand Army of the Republic; a pin with the emblem of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics; an 1828 land deed for Nicholas Leatherman; and pages 3-17 of an unsigned manuscript written by Faulkner [?] concerning the Mary Surratt hanging.
