Tape recording of a radio broadcast of an episode of "Cavalcade of America", featuring a historical drama based upon the John Brown story. Dr. Frank Monahan of Yale University gives an introductory talk for the program. Cavalcade of America was an anthology drama series that was sponsored by the DuPont Company. It was initially broadcast on radio from 1935 to 1953, and later on television from 1952 to 1957. See oral history collection, C216, R231.
